Naftalan is a spa town in western Azerbaijan known for baths in its natural naftalan oil. The programme combines a five-night treatment course at a sanatorium with one night in Baku.
The sanatorium doctor prescribes the treatments on day one. Naftalan baths have contraindications, so please consult your own doctor before sending a request. The course can be extended to 10 or 14 nights.
Day-by-day itinerary
Flight to Baku, airport meet-and-greet and transfer to Naftalan (about 330 km). Check-in at the sanatorium.
A morning consultation and a personal treatment plan. First treatments in the afternoon.
Naftalan baths and physiotherapy as prescribed, with free time for walks in the resort park.
After the morning treatments, an optional half-day trip to Ganja: the Nizami Mausoleum and the Bottle House.
Treatments continue. A quiet evening.
Last treatments and the doctor's recommendations in the morning. Afternoon transfer to Baku and an evening walk along the seafront boulevard.
A short morning walk through the old city, then the airport transfer and flight to Tashkent.
