This document will be updated with the company's official details once registration and licensing are completed.

This policy explains how Ravon Travel (the "Operator") processes personal data received through the website ravontravel.uz. It has been drawn up in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Personal Data" No. ZRU-547 of 2 July 2019.

1. What data we collect

We collect only the data that you provide yourself and that is needed to provide our services:

  • contact and request forms: name, phone number, email (optional), the text of your message and the chosen subject;
  • when booking: each traveller's first and last name, date of birth and travel-passport details, plus the contact details of the person booking;
  • technical data: IP address, time of request and browser type — kept in server logs for the security and stable operation of the website.

We do not ask for special-category data such as race, religious belief or health. If health information is needed for a trip, we use it only with your consent and only to arrange that trip.

2. Why we use your data

  • to answer your request and get in touch with you;
  • to make your booking and arrange the tour services: tickets, hotel, transfers and visa support;
  • to take payment and process refunds;
  • to meet accounting and reporting obligations set by law;
  • to protect the website from abuse and automated attacks.

We do not sell or pass your data to third parties for advertising. We send marketing messages only if you have given separate consent.

3. Legal basis for processing

Data is processed in accordance with the Law "On Personal Data" on the following grounds:

  • your consent — given by ticking the relevant box when you submit a form or make a booking;
  • the need to conclude and perform a contract to which you are a party;
  • compliance with obligations imposed on the Operator by law.

When you enter other travellers' details, you confirm that you have their consent.

4. Storage and protection

Data is transmitted over a secure connection (HTTPS). Only staff who handle your request or booking have access to it, and they are bound by confidentiality.

Data is kept for as long as needed for the purposes for which it is processed, and for the period the law requires documents to be kept. After that, or when you withdraw consent — unless the law requires retention — the data is deleted or anonymised.

The personal data of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan is processed and stored in line with the requirements of the legislation.

5. Bank card data

Card data — the card number, expiry date, CVV/CVC code and SMS code — is passed over a secure connection directly to a licensed payment provider. It is never sent to our server and is never stored by us.

From the payment provider we receive only the outcome of the payment: its status, amount, time and transaction identifier.

6. Sharing with third parties

Your data is shared only to the extent needed to arrange your trip, with:

  • airlines and other carriers, hotels, local partners and guides;
  • insurance companies and visa centres or embassies — where that service has been ordered;
  • the payment provider — to process the payment;
  • state authorities — only in the cases and manner provided for by law.

Because outbound travel services are delivered abroad, travellers' data is passed to service providers in the destination country. By making a booking you agree to this cross-border transfer, which is necessary to arrange the trip.

The website uses only the technical means needed for it to work: a cookie that remembers your chosen language, and temporary storage of an unfinished booking in your browser. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • know what data about you is being processed and obtain a copy of it;
  • ask for inaccurate or outdated data to be corrected;
  • withdraw your consent and ask for processing to stop or for the data to be deleted — where the law does not require it to be kept;
  • complain to the authorised state body for the protection of personal-data subjects' rights, or to a court, if you believe your rights have been infringed.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it. Deleting data that is needed for a confirmed booking may make it impossible to arrange the trip.

9. Contact and changes to this policy

Send any request about your personal data to info@ravontravel.uz. We will review it and reply within the period set by law.

This policy may be updated. A new version takes effect when it is published on the website; the date of the last change is shown at the top of the page.
