Four nights in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, whose pillars inspired the floating mountains of 'Avatar', and three in Guangzhou on the Pearl River.
Expect plenty of walking: stairways, viewing platforms and glass bridges. Bring comfortable shoes. The tour is built on request — dates and hotel category are agreed with you.
Day-by-day itinerary
Flight to Guangzhou, airport meet-and-greet and hotel transfer. Evening at leisure.
The Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, colonial-era Shamian Island and the Canton Tower. An evening cruise on the Pearl River.
High-speed train to Zhangjiajie. Check-in at a hotel in the Wulingyuan area and an evening walk.
The Bailong Elevator built into the cliff, the Avatar Hallelujah pillar and the natural arch known as the First Bridge under Heaven.
A cable car up Tianzi Mountain for the panoramas, then an easy afternoon walk along the stream on the gorge floor.
One of the world's longest cable-car rides, the glass skywalk along the cliff and the 999 steps up to Heaven's Gate cave.
Return to Guangzhou. Free time for shopping on the Beijing Road pedestrian street in the afternoon.
Hotel check-out, airport transfer and the flight to Tashkent.
