Eight nights in two very different Malaysias: four in Kuala Lumpur, a city of skyscrapers and street food, and four on Langkawi in the Andaman Sea — beach, mangroves and a sky bridge above the hills.
The tour is built on request. You can add days on Langkawi or change the hotel category and our manager will requote. The climate is tropical — hot and humid all year — so bring light clothing and sun protection.
Day-by-day itinerary
Flight to Kuala Lumpur, airport meet-and-greet and hotel transfer. Evening at leisure.
Merdeka Square, the National Mosque, Chinatown and the view of the Petronas Towers from KLCC Park.
The 272 rainbow steps up to the cave temple in a limestone cliff. Central Market and free time in the afternoon.
The administrative capital, Putrajaya: the pink Putra Mosque on the lake and the government quarter. Evening shopping on Bukit Bintang.
A domestic flight to Langkawi (about an hour), hotel transfer and a first evening on Cenang Beach.
The cable car up Mount Machinchang, the curved suspension bridge 660 metres up and the Seven Wells waterfall.
A boat trip through the UNESCO geopark: mangroves, limestone cliffs and eagles.
A day by the sea. Optional: an island-hopping boat trip.
Airport transfer, the domestic flight to Kuala Lumpur and the flight on to Tashkent.
